Dear sir,
I am very sorry to have to write and complain to you about a microwave I bought at your shop last week. even though the item was on sale, I thought that it must be in a good working condition. a store, a big one with your reputation is not expected to intentionally sell faulty goods to its customers.
I first attempted to use the microwave yesterday and, no sooner had I plugged it in when it made as alarming crackling noise and then the indicator lamp was off and it stopped working. I touched the outer surface and there was no sign of getting warmer. this was a most unpleasant experience and could have been quite dangerous. all other electrical items in my house are working well. therefore, I do not think that this is a problem of fauly electrical wiring. the problem is defective microwave.
here I enclose a copy of my receipt, model number of the product, and the guarantee card.it is not easy for me to return to your shop as I live some distance away. thus, I would like a confirmation in writing as to the action you propose to take, before I visit you again. thank you.
